While certainly not exhaustive, here is a list of my favorite movies shot (at least in part) in NYC. Most of them are older titles, that is, they were produced prior to 1990. However, there are a few modern titles thrown into the mix (especially if they exhibit interesting art direction, showcase unique city locations or happen to be landmark films).
